RICH DAUGHTRIDGE
Founder & President
Rich graduated from the Virginia Military Institute with a degree in Business and Economics. After college, he played professional outdoor and indoor soccer while coaching soccer at Washington and Lee University in the off seasons. Rich returned to Washington County in 2000 and focused this competitive energy on the web. After running his own web design firm for two years, he became Director of Marketing and Web Development for Mid Atlantic System Integrators in Hagerstown, Maryland. In 2005, Rich teamed with Dave Schleigh to launch High Rock, which grew rapidly into one of the region's top marketing and design firms.
Rich leads the High Rock team from their Hagerstown headquarters. He lives in Hagerstown with his wife Susan and three children.
DAVE SCHLEIGH
Founder & Creative Director
Dave graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County with a degree in Geography and Technical Writing. He then brought his creative talents to the City of Baltimore as Art Director, where he developed a wide range of print and online media for the city. In 2005, Dave joined forces with Rich Daughtridge to launch High Rock. Dave heads the High Rock office in Ellicott City and oversees creative and design strategies for clients.
Dave lives in Columbia, Maryland, with his wife Jaci and their daughter.
JOSH YOUNGBAR
Video Director / Web Developer
Josh studied Design and Computer Programming at Hagerstown Community College. He worked as a graphic designer and network administrator for Phoenix Color in Hagerstown and at the Imagination Center in Frederick. An Apple Certified Technician, Josh ran Mac Express, an Apple Computer service and sales center. Prior to joining High Rock, Josh worked at IDmakers in Frederick. As Technical Director, he worked on multiple projects including films for the City of Frederick and other regional businesses and organizations.
Josh brings many years of film and video experience to High Rock, including editing, motion graphics, and videography. He is also a web team member. Josh lives in Hagerstown with his wife, Erin, and their two children.
JEREMY BOHNER
Art Director
Jeremy is a 2004 graduate of Frostburg State University, where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art and Design (with a focus in Graphic Design) and a Minor in Art History. Before joining the High Rock team, Jeremy worked as a Graphic Designer and then Creative Director for a design firm in the region and pursued personal business ventures. Jeremy brings an abundance of creative talent to High Rock in the form of award winning logo design, print design and web design.
Jeremy currently resides in Pennsylvania and works in High Rock's Hagerstown office.
JASON MILLER
Account Director
Jason Miller came to High Rock with over 10 years of experience in graphic and web design. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design, and before joining High Rock in 2009, was most recently the Associate Creative Director at Merrick Towle Communications in Beltsville, Maryland. Jason works out of both of High Rock's offices, which is particularly fitting given that he wears two different hats for the agency: Art Director for his right brain hemisphere, and Strategy and Account Manager for the left.
Jason lives in Frederick with his wife and two children.
LINDSAY SEIFARTH
Senior Project Manager
Lindsay is a graduate of Catawba College in Salisbury, North Carolina, where she received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Before coming to High Rock, Lindsay worked in Washington, DC, as a project management consultant. She manages an impressive array of projects for High Rock from the Ellicott City office. In her spare time, Lindsay enjoys staying active, visiting with friends and family, and traveling.
Lindsay currently lives with her husband Bryan and their son Ryder in Columbia, Maryland.
NICK KLINE
Internet Marketing Consultant
Nick attended the University of Maryland in College Park, then launched his own successful SEO firm helping clients maximize their web audiences and improve search engine rankings. As a member of the High Rock web team, Nick continues to develop effective SEO strategies that help push client sites to the top of search engines. He's known around the office as the quintessential good sport, thanks to his willing participation as a character actor in High Rock's own marketing efforts.
Nick lives in Hagerstown with his wife and son, and works in the Hagerstown office.
DEREK BECK
Senior Web Developer
Derek Beck graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Design from Kutztown University and works as a web developer in the Hagerstown office. He came to High Rock with 11 years of experience in the web and graphics industry. Derek's primary focus is developing websites and online applications with creative design and functionality. He enjoys keeping up with – or more likely, a step ahead of – industry trends, and learning something new each day. He values working with a team that has the highest attention to detail, creativity and technical expertise.
Derek resides in Frederick, Maryland with his wife, son and dog.
ANN MARIE BRIGIDO
Office Manager
Ann Marie joined the High Rock team with over 15 years of experience in corporate treasury, cash management, accounts receivable, and domestic and international credit. She's worked for companies such as C.M. Offray & Son, Inc. and World Kitchen, Inc. Most recently, she served as Corporate Credit Manager for GST AutoLeather's Hagerstown and Detroit offices, where she oversaw the cash management of accounts such as Toyota worldwide and the "Big Three" American auto manufacturers.
Ann Marie resides in Hagerstown with her husband Stephen, and enjoys reading and oil painting.
BECCY COTTRILL
Receptionist
Beccy joined High Rock with over 15 years of business administration and management experience. Her diverse background includes human resources, payroll, contracts, domestic and international credit analysis and sales, as well as veterinary management.
When not at the office, Beccy can be found reading under a shade tree, immersing herself in arts and crafts projects, or getting dirt under her nails while planting and weeding her flower gardens.
DAVID DAN
Senior Project Manager
David is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day project management tasks of the Web team. His background includes four years of project management experience and four years of IT experience. He previously completed computer information systems coursework at SUNY (State University of New York) Orange.
Dan resides in Hagerstown, with his wife, Jeannette, and their son, Dakota.
GRACE CANFIELD
Project Manager
Grace earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing Communication & Digital Media from Juniata College (pronounced joo-nee-AH-ta, for those who may wonder) in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. Following graduation, she worked as Production Manager for Juniata's Digital Media Studio, and later for their marketing office as a Graphic Designer. Grace joined High Rock in 2010 as Assistant Project Manager, responsible for overseeing all of High Rock's LeftBrain websites, and is now a Project Manager the Hagerstown office, where she coordinates custom web development, print design, and many other projects.
In her free time, Grace loves exploring music and movies, photography (particularly nature), singing with the Mercersburg Community Chorus, and spending time with friends and family. She resides in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania.
JESS RUZZ
Brand Strategist & Copywriter
Jess's path to High Rock looks like a connect-the-dots game completed by a double-jointed octopus. Always a creative writer, Jess initially kept her work hidden beneath the floorboards, and pursued a legal career instead. After six years as an Esquire, her muse began demanding more airtime. She flung herself off the proverbial cliff and landed at a regional ad agency, where she found the perfect match for her combination of creativity and business acumen. Jess has already packed years into her second career, from proudly bearing the title Lowly Proofreader to winning an ADDY.
To find Jess when she's not crafting spot-on copy and sound strategy from High Rock's Ellicott City office, look no further than nearby Columbia, where she lives with her son, parrot, and French bulldog / Shih-Tzu mix.
KEN GARBER
Sales Manager
Ken joined High Rock in 2010 after an 18-year career as a journalist and advertising professional with newspaper in the Washington, DC area. With several writing and advertising awards in tow, Ken joined The Herald-Mail Newspaper in Hagerstown in 2003. His experience in the traditional print world and his growing knowledge of today's "new" media makes him a valuable resource for High Rock clients – and his quirky, offbeat sense of humor keeps the entire team in stitches.
Ken lives in Hagerstown with his wife Kelli and their son.
KRISTEN GROVE
Project Manager
Kristen is a 2009 graduate of Liberty University with a Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication & Graphic Design. Before joining High Rock, Kristen worked as an Art Assistant at the Banana Factory in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and as a freelance illustrator. Kristen joined the High Rock team in 2011 as an Assistant Project Manager for High Rock's LeftBrain websites in the Hagerstown office. She's currently pursuing a Master's Certification in Digital Art, with concentrations in Illustration and Web Design.
In her spare time, Kristen enjoys reading, painting, yoga, and lots of coffee. She currently resides in Hagerstown with her husband Chris, their dog Mousse, and cat Tuxedo.
MICHELLE HOLLAND
Senior Graphic Designer
Michelle graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. She brings more than 10 years of experience in award-winning branding, print and web design. Before joining the High Rock team, Michelle worked as an Art Director for a design firm in Orlando, Florida.
She currently resides in Bethesda with her husband and works in High Rock's Ellicott City office.
TYLER PANGBORN
Web Developer
Tyler works on the web/video team in High Rock's Hagerstown office. After graduating from the University of Maryland Baltimore County with a Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts, Tyler worked as a video editor for Video Production Consulting in Reisterstown, Maryland, and a production specialist for After Five Productions in Hagerstown.
Tyler resides in Hagerstown with his wife, Katie.
ZORAN KNEZEVIC
Senior Software Engineer
Zoran truly enjoys work with cutting-edge technology. Programming is both his profession and hobby, so when he finishes a long day at work, he kicks back with a programming book and dabbles in video game development. He is a senior software engineer who finds great joy in using the latest technology to provide solid business solutions.
Zoran resides in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, and spends his free time with his beautiful daughter, Isabella.
